The Blue Illusion Dance Team does not get any funding directly from the school.  In the past the booster club has supported us, by providing the funds for transportation to our State Competition.  However, since we fall in limbo between a sport and activity, the district does not give us money for uniforms or supplies.  Also, all of our competitions have an entry fee, and it costs money to get there.  We would really like to go to Nationals this year, but it could cost us close to $11,000.  The team members work hard on fundraising and they pay out of pocket.  Here is a look at the fundraisers we're having this year, as well as our form to sponsor the team.  If you would like to help contact Coach Meredith Dennis at [email protected].

Car wash

On Saturday June 19, 202 from 10:00am to 2:00pm the girls will be up in the parking lot of Brady Stadium for their annual car wash.  It is a donation only car wash. So come, make a donation of any amount  and get your car washed.  The girls will do their best to make your car shine.

rock n' Roll bingo

On TBD we will host a Rock N' Roll Bingo at Knights of Columbus in Davenport. Contact any team member to reserve your seat! It's just $10 per card or $80 to reserve the entire table. It's a great way to help the team and have some fun with your friends and family.

Pizza ranch tip night

On Monday November , the Dancers will be at Pizza Ranch by Burlington Coat Factory in Davenport/Bettendorf for a tip night.  They get a percentage of the proceeds from the time they are there, and also can keep any tips they get.  Bring the family, have a great meal and help the team.

kids clinic

On Thursday November 4, 2021, from 5:30-7:30pm the Dancers will host the next generation of Blue Illusion Dancers for a kids clinic.  Kids ages K-8 grade can come, and learn from the Blue Illusion Dancers.  They will learn a dance and some technique and play games with the girls.  Then the clinic goers will get a chance to perform at our Quad City Legacy Dance Team Competition.


Quad city legacy Dance competition

On November 6, 2021, the Blue Illusion Dance Team will host the 7th Annual Quad City Legacy Dance Team Competition.  It will take place all day on Saturday the 9th at Davenport Central High School.  High School Dance Teams from across the State of Iowa will attend and compete in both solos and team dances.  The last few years the event has been amazing and we hope to make it even bigger and better in 2018.  There are opportunities to sponsor the event.  Details are listed below with the buttons.  You can donate money, food, items, anything and everything will be used in some way.  If you want to donate something beside money, please contact Coach Meredith Dennis at [email protected].  For more information about the competition click here.
